• • As a Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA) focusing on Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineering, you will be instrumental in guiding Databricks customers and supporting the Field Engineering organization as a trusted technical expert.
• • Your primary mission is to empower customers by architecting robust, production-grade ML and AI applications on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, ensuring their technical roadmaps align with our continuously evolving capabilities.
• • You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI by applying cutting-edge technologies in Generative AI (GenAI), MLOps, and broader ML applications, thereby expanding your impact through mentorship and establishing yourself as a recognized thought leader in the AI space.
• • A key responsibility involves architecting and implementing production-level ML and AI workloads for enterprise clients. This includes designing and deploying sophisticated solutions such as AI agents, comprehensive end-to-end ML pipelines, optimizing training and inference processes, seamlessly integrating with cloud-native services, and implementing robust MLOps practices.
• • You will serve as a go-to practitioner for enterprise GenAI solutions, focusing on advanced architectures like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic systems (including tool-calling agents, multi-agent orchestration, and AI guardrails), enabling natural language querying of structured data, and implementing AI evaluation, observability, and monitoring systems.
• • You will be responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing customer AI workloads, applying best-in-class MLOps principles to ensure these critical applications are production-ready across diverse industry domains.
• • Provide advanced technical support and guidance to Solution Architects during the technical sales cycle. This encompasses a wide range of ML lifecycle stages, from feature engineering, model training, and experiment tracking to model serving and ongoing monitoring, all within the unified Databricks platform.
• • Actively participate in and contribute to the broader ML Subject Matter Expert (SME) community within Databricks, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• • Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with Product Management and Engineering teams. You will act as the voice of the customer, articulating their needs, defining priorities, and influencing the product roadmap to drive the adoption and enhancement of Databricks’ AI offerings.
• • This role demands a proactive approach to continuous learning, staying abreast of the latest advancements in ML and AI, and translating these innovations into tangible business value for our customers.

• • Engage in pre-sales activities, including technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept development, to showcase the capabilities of the Databricks platform for ML and AI use cases.
• • Post-sales, you will assist customers in the successful implementation and operationalization of their ML and AI solutions, ensuring they achieve their desired business outcomes.
