- • The Sr. Continuous Improvement Engineer will lead Lean and Six Sigma projects to drive operational excellence and support strategic initiatives at Velera, a premier payments credit union service organization serving over 4,000 financial institutions.
- • Day to day, the role involves applying DMAIC methodologies, using quality tools and statistical analysis to identify waste, develop dashboards, track KPIs, lead cross-functional teams, mentor Green and Yellow Belt candidates, deliver training, and support enterprise-level process improvement engagements.
- • Velera operates with a people-helping-people philosophy, fostering inclusion, psychological safety, and belonging in a remote-first environment while delivering innovative fintech solutions to financial institutions across North America.
- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in Lean Six Sigma, develop leadership and change management skills, influence organizational improvement culture, and achieve measurable operational gains aligned with strategic business objectives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a technical (science or engineering) or business (finance) field
- • Black Belt certification required or ability to obtain within one year
- • Seven (7) years of business experience with specific experience in reengineering and productivity
- • Lean Six Sigma experience required
- • Experience in the financial industry strongly preferred
