- • As a Senior Data Engineer at Cloudera, you will lead the transition from traditional manual coding to AI-orchestrated development (Vibe Coding), architecting next-gen data pipelines and GenAI applications at unprecedented speed.
- • You will collaborate with Data Architects, Operational Architects, and Data Analysts to understand data and operational requirements across business units, partner with data owners for reliable data ingestion, and design robust system architectures for real-time, near real-time, and batch processing data flows.
- • Cloudera empowers people to transform complex data into clear and actionable insights, managing as much data as hyperscalers and serving as the preferred data partner for top companies across industries, powered by open-source innovation.
- • You will design and deploy GenAI-powered self-service tools, implement monitoring and CI/CD automation for data quality, standardize AI-first engineering workflows, and build scalable, high-performance data pipelines that drive Analytics and AI/ML initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- • Proven experience with AI-first approaches and "Vibe Coding" to deliver production-ready data pipelines using AI orchestration
- • Deep proficiency with system design for batch processing and real-time/streaming processing, including expert-level knowledge of distributed systems and Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop ecosystem: Hive, Impala, Kafka)
- • Proficient in coding with Python (primary) and SQL, with experience in ETL and data processing
- • Proven proficiency in Data Modeling using industry best practices (e.g., Kimball, Inmon)
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
