- • The Sr. Data Engineer at WellSky Corporation is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, infrastructure, and data visualization to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role is critical in enabling data quality, accessibility, and security for healthcare solutions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and maintaining data pipelines and data models, developing data solutions for BI and data warehouse systems, enhancing workflows by identifying data patterns and anomalies, optimizing data processing and storage, and leveraging AI tools to improve decision-making and streamline workflows.
- • The role involves close collaboration with data scientists, analysts, solutions partners, and stakeholders to support new and existing solutions, contribute to coding standards through code reviews, and develop subject matter expertise in WellSky’s healthcare domain.
- • The person in this role will deepen their expertise in cloud data platforms (especially GCP), data warehousing (Snowflake, DBT), BI tools (Tableau), and healthcare data systems, while promoting data quality through automation and adherence to security policies including PHI protection.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
- • 4-6 years of relevant work experience
- • Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience developing and supporting data pipelines and data warehouse solutions
- • Experience with SQL Server data integration and ETL development (including SSIS or equivalent)
- • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services, preferably within GCP environments
