Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end vision, strategy, and execution of Synapticure’s internal technology platform—the digital backbone that enables neurologists, care coordinators, and operations teams to deliver world-class neurodegenerative care to patients and families in all 50 states.
- • Translate complex clinical workflows into intuitive product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications that empower clinicians to spend more time with patients and less time on administrative tasks.
- • Serve as the single point of accountability for roadmap delivery, balancing aggressive growth targets with rigorous quality, security, and compliance standards in a highly regulated healthcare environment.
- • Drive daily sprint planning, backlog grooming, and architecture discussions alongside engineering leaders; act as a “player-coach” who can roll up your sleeves to write specs, test edge cases, and unblock teams while simultaneously setting multi-year product strategy.
- • Lead cross-functional initiatives that span EMR integrations (Epic, Cerner, athenahealth), data-pipeline enhancements, telehealth tooling, and care-coordination automations—ensuring seamless interoperability across providers, payers, and CMS programs such as the new GUIDE dementia care model.
- • Establish robust program governance: define OKRs, allocate resources, manage risk registers, and track milestones so that every stakeholder—from frontline nurses to the C-suite—has clear visibility into progress and trade-offs.
- • Champion a data-driven culture by instrumenting products for real-time analytics, surfacing actionable insights on clinical efficiency, patient outcomes, and operational throughput, and iterating rapidly based on quantitative and qualitative feedback.
- • Collaborate deeply with clinical leadership to understand the lived experience of patients with ALS, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s; infuse empathy and user-centric design into every feature decision, ensuring technology reduces rather than adds burden.
- • Foster an inclusive, remote-first team culture that embodies Synapticure’s core values: relentless patient focus, curiosity, authenticity, and bias toward action—mentoring product managers and technical program managers to grow into future healthcare leaders.
- • Continuously scan the competitive and regulatory landscape (HIPAA, HITECH, 21st Century Cures) to anticipate shifts in reimbursement, privacy, and telehealth policy, positioning the platform to adapt ahead of market changes.
- • Evangelize the product vision both internally and externally—presenting to health-plan partners, provider networks, and investors to secure alignment, funding, and strategic buy-in for next-generation capabilities.
- • Balance technical debt and scalability investments with immediate patient-impact features, ensuring the architecture can support 10× growth in patient volume and geographic expansion over the next three years.
- • Maintain comprehensive documentation—from PRDs and architecture decision records to compliance artifacts—so that knowledge is never siloed and audits are frictionless.
- • Leverage AI and automation responsibly to reduce clinician burnout, streamline prior authorizations, and surface personalized treatment recommendations while maintaining human oversight and ethical safeguards.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years in Product Management, Technical Program Management, or equivalent leadership roles within healthcare or health-tech.
- • Hands-on experience integrating EMRs (Epic, Cerner, athenahealth) or building/supporting internal clinical workflow tools.
- • Demonstrated success managing the full lifecycle of complex, internal-facing platforms that drive operational or clinical workflows.
- • Technical fluency to engage in architecture discussions, evaluate trade-offs, and write detailed technical specifications.
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary range: $220,000–$250,000 annually.
- • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and eligible dependents.
- • 401(k) plan with employer matching to support long-term financial wellness.
- • Generous paid time off and sick leave, plus a flexible, remote-first work environment.
- • Home-office stipend and annual professional-development budget to keep you productive and growing.
