- • As a Sr. IT Operations Specialist at PitchBook Data, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the company’s global IT infrastructure, directly supporting the productivity of employees across multiple offices and enabling seamless technology experiences that empower innovation and collaboration.
- • You will serve as a senior technical leader and mentor within the IT team, driving process improvements, leading cross-functional projects, and providing expert-level support for complex hardware, software, and network issues, while upholding PitchBook’s culture of curiosity, integrity, and continuous learning.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include: configuring and troubleshooting identity and access management systems (IdP/Okta) via SCIM provisioning and sign-on policies; managing global hardware procurement and vendor relationships; leading IT projects such as system migrations and application onboarding from initiation to completion; administering access controls and permissions for on-site and cloud resources; performing root cause analysis on recurring technical issues and implementing sustainable preventive solutions; diagnosing and resolving complex problems across Windows environments, networking, SaaS platforms, servers, and peripheral devices; acting as the primary escalation point for advanced desktop support tickets; training and coaching junior IT technicians on procedures, tools, and best practices; maintaining accurate and comprehensive IT documentation; analyzing and improving infrastructure through updates to Intune/Jamf policies, scripts, and system configurations; ensuring team compliance with security protocols when handling user data and access; collaborating with engineering, security, and facilities teams to align IT operations with business needs; and supporting company values through active participation in initiatives and role modeling desired behaviors.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise IT operations, gain hands-on experience with identity and access management (IAM) platforms like Okta, endpoint management tools (Intune/Jamf), and global hardware lifecycle management; develop leadership and project management skills by leading initiatives from concept to delivery; enhance your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; and contribute meaningfully to the scalability and security of a fast-growing, data-driven technology company.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required
- • 5+ years of experience in an IT Helpdesk or technical support environment
- • Advanced expertise in Windows administration, networking, software, and hardware
- • Experience leading all aspects of projects from start to finish
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • Advanced documentation and technical writing abilities for effective knowledge management
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ability to quickly learn new systems
- • Ability to work with vendors and escalate issues to top-tier support
- • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds (e.g., printers, monitors)
- • Must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom without visa sponsorship now or in the future
