- • As a Sr Odoo Consultant and Solution Architect at TalentSafari SAS (operating as Advance Insight), you will serve as the primary solution architecture resource for complex, multi-entity, multi-currency Odoo implementations across 30+ African countries, bridging client business realities with technical execution to ensure scalable, maintainable ERP solutions that drive digital transformation.
- • You will own end-to-end solution design for complex ERP implementations, including module scoping, process flows, data structures, custom workflows, third-party integrations, and reporting frameworks, while leading discovery sessions to uncover unstated needs and producing decision-ready blueprints that guide engineers without ambiguity.
- • You will act as the authoritative functional link between clients, lead consultants, and engineering teams, translating loosely defined business requirements into precise technical specifications, validating deliverables against functional requirements, and ensuring engineers understand the business context behind their work to prevent misalignment and rework.
- • On select engagements, you will take full ownership of the implementation lifecycle — from scoping and configuration to UAT, training, go-live, and hypercare — coordinating teams, managing expectations, and maintaining rigorous documentation to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
- • You will contribute to product and practice development by transforming repeatable client needs into reusable solution components, mentoring junior consultants on design rigor, shaping internal integration standards, supporting presales with technical workshops, and staying current with Odoo releases and AI-assisted ERP tools to elevate team capability.
- • You will be evaluated on delivering functional specifications that require minimal rework, producing solution designs that withstand UAT and post-go-live scrutiny, providing accurate budget estimates, being actively sought after by colleagues for architectural guidance, contributing at least one reusable asset to the team library, leading projects to successful delivery, and achieving Odoo Functional Certification within three months of joining if not already held.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–10+ years of experience in Odoo consulting, solution architecture, or a combination, with deep functional expertise in Odoo modules relevant to complex, integration-heavy implementations.
- • Proven experience designing ERP solutions with emphasis on custom-developed workflows and third-party integrations (logistics, payments, eCommerce, BI tools, etc.), including the ability to produce integration specifications at the API level covering data mapping, error handling, and behavior.
- • Demonstrated ability to interface between business stakeholders (C-suite to operations leads) and technical teams, with excellent communication skills to translate complex business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
- • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or equivalent; strong professional experience may outweigh formal credentials.
- • Experience contributing to scalable product or solution development (strongly preferred), familiarity with multiple ERPs (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite), and Odoo Functional Certification (required within 6 months if not held).
