📋 Description

• As a Sr. Product Designer at Jerry.ai, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience of America's first and only super app dedicated to simplifying car ownership. In a $2T industry ripe for disruption, Jerry.ai leverages AI to make managing a car – from insurance and financing to maintenance and safety – effortless and affordable for millions. • This role offers a unique opportunity to own the end-to-end design process for core products. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists to translate intricate problems and vast datasets into clear, user-friendly interfaces. Your work will directly impact how drivers make critical decisions about their vehicles, fostering confidence and ease.
• You will be a key player in defining user problems, simplifying data-heavy experiences, and designing solutions that yield measurable outcomes. This involves creating comprehensive user flows, developing low- and high-fidelity wireframes, building interactive prototypes to test and communicate ideas, and producing polished final UI designs for features across Jerry's mobile and web platforms.
• A significant aspect of your role will involve leading UX explorations for complex challenges. You will be responsible for structuring intuitive workflows that demystify car ownership and management, making it feel as simple as possible for the user.
• Data will be your ally. You will leverage user research, analytics, and experimentation to inform your design decisions, validate your hypotheses, and ensure that the solutions you create are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly effective and user-centric.
• Collaboration is at the heart of Jerry's design culture. You will work alongside other talented designers to evolve and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and a high standard of craft across all our products. • You will not be a solitary contributor. You will have direct access to and collaborate closely with Kruise Sapstein, Head of Design, who is dedicated to building a high-performing, high-craft design culture. You will also work with Art Agrawal, CEO & Head of Product, influencing company direction and customer experience at the highest level.
• The broader product organization is a powerhouse of talent, comprising 11 Product Managers, 55 Engineers, and 12 Analysts/Data Scientists. This collaborative environment is driven by a shared passion for building a best-in-class consumer experience, providing you with ample opportunity for cross-functional learning and impact.
• Your design decisions will directly influence the user's journey through critical aspects of car ownership, such as comparing insurance quotes, understanding maintenance schedules, and accessing safety information. The goal is to remove friction and build trust, making Jerry the indispensable companion for every car owner.
• You will be empowered to take ownership of features from conception through to launch and iteration, ensuring that the user's voice is central to every stage of the product development lifecycle. 🎯 Requirements

• A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UX thinking, data-informed decision-making, and clean, intuitive interface design for consumer-facing mobile or web products.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of designing and shipping successful consumer-facing mobile or web applications (agency or in-house experience is acceptable).
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data, technical requirements, and user needs into simple, elegant, and effective design workflows and user interfaces.
• Proficiency in Figma and experience with rapid prototyping tools (e.g., Protopie, Principle) to effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
• Experience collaborating effectively with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists in an agile environment, including defining scope, prioritizing solutions, and iterating quickly based on feedback and data.
• Understanding of design systems: experience using, contributing to, or evolving design systems to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across products.
