📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the end-to-end product design process for a B2B SaaS platform, leading projects from problem framing and ideation through prototype testing to final high-fidelity, ready-to-ship visual designs.
• Collaborate closely with the existing Product Designer to evolve and standardize the company’s design language, ensuring a cohesive, consistent user experience across both sides of the platform.
• Work hand-in-hand with product and engineering teams to identify high-impact UX opportunities, translate them into actionable design solutions, and deliver them with technical feasibility and speed.
• Create high-fidelity UI designs in Figma, adhering strictly to and continuously improving the scalable design system, including component libraries and shared workspace workflows.
• Craft clear, user-focused UI copy that guides users intuitively through the product interface, enhancing usability and reducing cognitive load.
• Design complex, desktop-first B2B web applications with deep attention to interaction design, information architecture, and user workflows.
• Balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints to deliver pragmatic “80/20” solutions that maximize impact without over-engineering.
• Communicate design trade-offs, constraints, and rationale clearly to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and shared understanding throughout the product lifecycle.
• Operate autonomously as a self-driven, outcome-oriented designer, managing priorities and delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to an inclusive, international team culture where ideas are valued and feedback is actively sought through regular 1-on-1s and open communication channels.
• Work remotely from anywhere within Germany or from the modern office located in Berlin Friedrichshain, with flexibility to choose the environment that best supports productivity and well-being.
• Participate in regular company and team events, both online and offline, to foster collaboration, community, and connection across the organization.
• Shape a product that directly impacts the construction industry by enabling more efficient, transparent, and cost-effective tender and procurement processes through AI-driven insights.
• Maintain and enhance a design system used by multiple designers and engineers, ensuring consistency, scalability, and ease of implementation.
• Translate abstract product goals into tangible, pixel-perfect interfaces that reflect brand identity and user needs while meeting technical specifications.
• Contribute to an open feedback culture where professional growth is supported through continuous dialogue, performance reviews, and development planning.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Product Designer in a well-known B2B SaaS company or high-growth SaaS startup
• Proven ability to design complex, desktop-first B2B web applications end-to-end, with portfolio evidence
• Expert-level Figma skills, including collaboration in shared workspaces and management of design systems
• Native German speaker with fluent English
• Self-driven, outcome-oriented, able to work independently while clearly communicating trade-offs and constraints
• Strong product thinking: ability to balance user value, technical feasibility, and business goals with pragmatic “80/20” solutions
