📋 Description

• As a Sr Product Development Analyst at American Family Mutual Insurance Company, you will monitor and analyze product performance to provide strategic recommendations that drive profitable growth and enhance customer experience in the Commercial Lines Insurance portfolio, specifically focusing on Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, and General Liability.
• Day to day, you will evaluate competitor products and pricing strategies, research market trends, develop new or enhanced insurance product concepts, prepare contract language and underwriting guidelines, collaborate with pricing/actuarial and claims teams, and monitor post-implementation performance including financial benefits and customer satisfaction.
• You will join a product development team within a leading mutual insurance company committed to innovation and inclusion, reporting to a Senior Manager, Product, and working remotely with occasional in-person orientation at Madison, WI headquarters or core locations.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in commercial insurance product lifecycle management, predictive analytics, competitive analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, enabling you to shape market-leading insurance offerings and advance your career in product strategy and analytics.

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience performing complex financial, actuarial or business analysis
• Solid knowledge and understanding of customer, business industry, insurance, underwriting guidelines and risk concepts in area of expertise
• Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies, practices, techniques and tools
• Knowledge within Commercial Casualty Lines of Business (Workers’ Compensation, Auto, and General Liability)
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills to review complex products, and/or lines of business
• Demonstrated experience making independent decisions
