• • As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at Up Labs Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the quality and reliability of cutting-edge technology startups. • • Your primary responsibility will be to architect, develop, and maintain sophisticated test automation frameworks. This includes a strong emphasis on backend services, APIs, and microservices architectures, where you will design and implement comprehensive testing strategies to validate complex distributed systems. You will be the guardian of backend quality, ensuring that our foundational systems are stable and performant.
• • Beyond backend systems, you will also build and enhance front-end testing capabilities for our web applications. This involves ensuring a seamless user experience (UI/UX) and verifying cross-browser compatibility, guaranteeing that our applications look and function flawlessly across different platforms and devices.
• • A key aspect of this role is driving efficiency through workflow automation. You will implement solutions to streamline testing processes, reduce manual effort, and ultimately accelerate the development velocity of our startup ventures. This includes automating repetitive tasks and integrating testing seamlessly into the development lifecycle.
• • You will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated test suites that deliver consistent and reliable results. These suites will be executed across both local development environments and continuous integration (CI) pipelines, providing rapid feedback to development teams.
• • Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will work closely with development teams to integrate automated testing into their CI/CD pipelines. • • Solid SQL skills are necessary for database testing and data validation, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data within our systems. You will have working knowledge of PostgreSQL database systems.
