📋 Description

• • As a Senior Security Response Engineer at Cloudera, you will fortify the organization’s security posture through proactive threat detection, security analysis, and incident response activities, playing a critical role in protecting enterprise data and systems.
• • Day to day, you will monitor and respond to security alerts from SIEM, EDR, and cloud platforms, conduct in-depth incident analysis, develop detection engineering rules, maintain SOAR workflows, participate in threat hunting, and mentor junior team members while collaborating across internal security teams.
• • Cloudera empowers enterprises to transform complex data into actionable insights, operating at hyperscale with open-source innovation, and relies on a 24/7 Incident Response Function requiring shift work including nights, weekends, on-call, and holidays to ensure continuous vigilance.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud and Kubernetes security, lead strategic security initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and gain hands-on experience with SOAR, threat intelligence, and cross-functional security projects that drive organizational resilience.
