- • As a Sr. ServiceNow Developer at Concentrix, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated applications and reusable components on the ServiceNow platform. Your expertise will be crucial in leveraging JavaScript (client and server-side), Glide Script, HTML, and CSS to build robust solutions, particularly for Service Portal development.
- • You will be expected to possess and apply strong knowledge of core ServiceNow modules, including Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), HR Service Delivery (HRSD), and IT Asset Management (ITAM), ensuring seamless integration and functionality across these critical areas.
- • A deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform's capabilities, its underlying architecture, and adherence to best practices will be paramount to your success in this role, enabling you to optimize existing solutions and develop new ones effectively.
- • Your technical proficiency will extend to JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, and experience with REST/SOAP Web Services. You will also be adept at utilizing Integration Hub and MID Servers, with specific knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory integration being a key asset.
- • A significant part of your role will involve integrating ServiceNow with various IT systems and tools. This will be achieved through the effective use of MID Servers, web services, and APIs, ensuring data consistency and process automation across the enterprise.
- • You will proactively monitor and tune the performance of the ServiceNow system. This includes optimizing complex queries, background scripts, and reports to ensure efficient and responsive platform operation, focusing on script execution efficiency and query performance tuning.
- • Experience in integrating ServiceNow with enterprise identity systems such as LDAP, Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, and OAuth will be essential for secure and streamlined user access management.
- • A strong grasp of core platform mechanics is required, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions, Flow Designer, UI Builder (Configurable Workspace), Playbooks, and Advanced Workflows, allowing you to build complex and dynamic solutions.
- • You will utilize Source Control systems, such as Git, to facilitate collaborative development and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, ensuring efficient and reliable code management.
- • Experience with the Mobile App Builder (MAB), Mobile Studio, Applets, and the setup of Offline Mode functionality will be valuable for extending ServiceNow's reach to mobile users.
- • While not strictly required, experience with Customer Service Management (CSM), Field Service Management (FSM), or specifically the ServiceNow Health and/or Safety or Workplace Safety modules is highly preferred, aligning with the specific needs of this role.
- • Furthermore, a "good to have" skill set includes Data Analytics tools like Tableau and experience with Snowflake, as well as familiarity with IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules, which can provide additional value to our clients.
