- • Join Anyware Robotics, a pioneering company at the forefront of physical AI and robotics, as a Senior Software Engineer. We are dedicated to deploying multi-purpose mobile robots, specifically our Pixmo robot, equipped with advanced AI to autonomously handle strenuous, repetitive, and safety-critical operational tasks in dynamic environments. Pixmo excels in crucial logistics operations such as trailer unloading, palletizing, case picking, and trailer loading. At its core is AnywareOS, our proprietary physical AI software, which empowers robots with sophisticated perception and object handling capabilities, even in complex, unstructured settings. By merging intelligent software with flexible hardware, Anyware Robotics empowers distribution centers and 3PLs to significantly reduce labor costs, dramatically enhance worker safety, and maintain consistent productivity, even amidst labor shortages, thereby delivering a clear and compelling return on investment (ROI).
- • As a small, agile team with ambitious goals, we are building robots that fundamentally transform the nature of work, making it safer, smarter, and more efficient. If you are driven by the challenge of solving real-world problems, thrive on deploying robots into production environments, and are passionate about seeing your innovative ideas materialize into tangible solutions, you will find a deeply rewarding and fitting environment here. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of robotics and automation.
- • In this pivotal Senior Software Engineer role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our robotic systems. Your primary responsibility will be to architect, develop, and implement high-performance software solutions for our sophisticated, high Degrees of Freedom (DOF) robotics systems. This involves not only writing clean, efficient code but also deeply understanding the intricate mechanics and control systems of our robots. You will be a key player in ensuring our software is robust, scalable, and optimized for real-time performance.
- • A significant aspect of your role will involve the continuous refactoring and optimization of existing codebases. This critical work aims to enhance modularity, improve scalability, and ensure the long-term maintainability of our software. You will meticulously profile and accelerate critical system components to boost execution speed, ensuring our robots operate with maximum efficiency and responsiveness. This focus on performance tuning is paramount for the success of our autonomous systems.
- • Collaboration is at the heart of our development process. You will work closely and cross-functionally with dedicated teams specializing in perception, motion planning, quality assurance (QA), and field deployment. This interdisciplinary teamwork ensures that our software seamlessly integrates with all aspects of the robotic system and meets the rigorous demands of production environments. Your insights will be invaluable in bridging the gap between software development and the physical realities of robotic operation.
- • You will take ownership of our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining automated processes for integration, testing, and deployment, ensuring a smooth and reliable software release cycle. Your expertise will guarantee that new features and updates are delivered efficiently and with high confidence.
- • Leading code reviews will be a core responsibility, where you will champion best practices, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers. Your guidance will be crucial in elevating the overall software quality and fostering a culture of technical excellence within the team. You will help shape the architectural direction and ensure adherence to robust software design principles.
- • The dynamic nature of robotics requires a commitment to continuous learning. You will be expected to learn and adapt quickly to new frameworks, libraries, and evolving hardware constraints. This role demands intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to staying at the forefront of technological advancements in the field of robotics and AI.
- • Beyond technical contributions, you will embody a startup mindset. This means being hands-on, proactive in identifying and solving problems, and taking full ownership of your work from conception to deployment. Your ability to wear multiple hats and contribute wherever needed will be highly valued in our fast-paced environment.
