- • Sr./Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Oscilar Inc., building the next generation of AI-powered risk decisioning for fintech, where machine learning is core to enabling real-time, smarter financial decisions.
- • You will scale and optimize existing ML systems, build reproducible automated ML pipelines, design new ML infrastructure components, set engineering standards for model lifecycle management, and own production reliability of ML systems serving business-critical, real-time risk decisions.
- • Oscilar is a fast-growing fintech company focused on AI-driven risk decisioning, with a strong engineering culture where over 50% of the team is in Engineering and Product, and co-founders are engineers deeply invested in technical excellence.
- • In this role, you will gain deep expertise in scaling ML infrastructure, influence technical direction as a senior or staff-level engineer, mentor teammates, and directly impact the reliability and performance of systems that power financial institutions’ real-time decisions.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience building and maintaining production ML infrastructure
- • Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience designing distributed systems and writing high-quality, maintainable code
- • Hands-on experience with the full ML lifecycle in production: feature engineering and serving, model deployment, monitoring, and retraining
- • Proficiency in Scala and Python, with hands-on experience building data and ML workloads on distributed processing frameworks such as Spark and Flink
- • Experience operating systems at scale, including performance tuning, observability, and incident response
- • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across data science, engineering, and product teams
- • Significant experience building and operating workloads on AWS
