📋 Description

• As a Sr. System Administrator on the Data Centers team at Dialpad, you’ll own both hardware and cloud infrastructures, focusing on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence for a global server fleet.
• You’ll design and deploy cloud expansion strategies, lead capacity planning, automate server fleets, and partner with Engineering to align infrastructure decisions with performance and cost objectives.
• Dialpad is an AI-native business communications platform powering real-time AI-driven insights for over 70,000 global companies, leading the shift to Agentic AI with its DAART initiative to automate workflows and accelerate revenue.
• You’ll develop expertise in hybrid infrastructure, automation at scale, observability, and security hardening while mentoring peers and contributing to a culture of scrappy, curious, optimistic, persistent, and empathetic innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• Background in Systems and/or Software Engineering with strong focus on infrastructure and operations
• Extensive experience with Linux on-premise and in the cloud, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and automation at scale
• Proven experience in a senior or lead capacity (typically 5+ years in systems administration or similar roles), including driving cross-team initiatives and mentoring others
