- • As a Sr Systems Support Engineer at Harris Computer Systems Corporation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of complex network infrastructures, including hybrid cloud environments spanning on-premises and Azure/AWS platforms.
- • Day to day, you will configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and monitoring tools; install and organize physical network equipment; proactively monitor infrastructure; mentor junior staff; lead incident response and root cause analysis; and own end-to-end network projects from design to handover.
- • You will join a technically deep engineering team focused on delivering resilient, secure, and scalable network solutions for enterprise clients, with a strong emphasis on cloud networking and automation.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in multi-cloud networking (Azure and AWS), infrastructure as code, network security architecture, and hybrid connectivity, positioning yourself as a subject matter expert while mentoring others and leading complex initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience in core Networking and Security
- • Strong hands-on experience with deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Azure networking services (VNet, NSG, Azure Firewall, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Front Door, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, UDR, NVA, DNS, Traffic Manager, Network Watcher)
- • Experience designing and implementing hybrid cloud connectivity (on-prem to Azure) with strong understanding of Azure network security architecture, high availability, failover, and disaster recovery
- • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
- • Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS VPNs, VXLAN, Multicast, DMVPN, IPSEC, and encryption standards
- • Experience with multi-vendor firewalls (Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, Fortinet, SonicWall, Palo Alto) and security tools (WAF, NIPS, Firewall Analyzer, DDoS protection)
