- • As a Sr. Validation & Tools Engineer - Devtools at Ridealso Inc., you will play a pivotal role in enhancing engineering productivity by designing and implementing developer tools that streamline workflows across software, hardware, QA, systems, and product teams. Your work will directly impact the speed, reliability, and quality of ALSO’s vertically integrated electric mobility products, enabling faster innovation in sustainable transportation.
- • You will build and maintain internal tooling for report generation, test dashboards, traceability, quality metrics, and system observability; integrate AI-assisted development workflows including prompt design and optimization for code generation and test creation; create scalable Python-based systems using modern best practices like static analysis, linting, and unit testing; troubleshoot software defects and performance bottlenecks across diverse operating systems and hardware targets; drive tooling solutions that improve collaboration between firmware, applications, mobile, cloud, and test engineering teams; and participate in peer code reviews and technical design discussions to uphold high standards of quality and reliability.

🎯 Requirements
- • BS or MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- • 5+ years of professional experience in software design and development of tools, automation, and infrastructure supporting quality engineering, CI/CD, and embedded software or firmware development.
- • Strong professional proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience building internal tools, test frameworks, automation systems, and engineering productivity workflows.
