• • As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Rox, you will be instrumental in building and scaling the robust infrastructure that powers our AI-native agent platform. This is not a conventional operations role; you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining secure, highly reliable, and cost-efficient systems designed to support real-time, multi-agent workflows for the world's leading revenue teams. You will own the complete SRE lifecycle, encompassing the management of our AWS environments, the automation of critical database operations (specifically Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL), the implementation of cutting-edge SRE best practices, and the embedding of security-first engineering principles throughout our systems.
• • As the foundational SRE hire for our San Francisco office, you will enjoy a high degree of ownership and have the unique opportunity to establish the operational framework that will enable Rox to scale effectively. • • A deep understanding of data storage systems such as Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB, Snowflake, and S3 is essential. Familiarity with queuing and streaming systems like SQS, Kafka, and Spark will be crucial for optimizing data flow and processing. You will be expected to be deeply obsessed with operational excellence, ensuring minimal to no downtime or customer impact. Your ability to work and deliver in a fast-paced environment with weekly deliverables, exhibiting founder-level energy and operating with minimal direction, will be key to your success. A strong sense of curiosity, a commitment to hard work, and a growth mindset are vital for continuous learning and adaptation in our dynamic setting.
