  • • As a Staff AI Engineer, you will lead the adoption of AI-assisted development, agent-based automation, and intelligent engineering workflows to accelerate developer productivity, improve software quality, and modernize legacy systems across the organization.
  • • You will drive the implementation of AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and emerging enterprise code assistants to enable context-aware code generation, documentation synthesis, and intelligent refactoring at scale.
  • • Design and deploy agentic workflows using platforms like n8n, OpenClaw, and emerging agent orchestration tools to automate engineering processes including bug detection and fixing, code quality validation, test generation, and release readiness.
  • • Build and implement multi-agent systems, A2A protocols, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)-based solutions to enable autonomous engineering operations across the software development lifecycle.
  • • Lead initiatives to modernize legacy applications using AI-assisted refactoring, architecture reconstruction, and automated migration strategies, ensuring secure and responsible AI practices throughout.
  • • Integrate AI engineering platforms with enterprise systems, developer tools, and cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and API-driven designs.
  • • Implement telemetry-driven development insights using observability platforms to enable AI-powered operational insights, anomaly detection, and performance optimization.
  • • Establish guardrails for enterprise AI-assisted development by applying principles of Responsible AI, AI ethics, model governance, and data protection.
  • • Collaborate effectively within agile teams, demonstrating strong analytical, time management, leadership, and communication skills to deliver cross-organizational impact.
  • • Mentor and guide engineering teams in adopting AI-augmented practices, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in software delivery.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Typically requires 12+ years of experience in software engineering, distributed systems, cloud-native development, or AI-augmented engineering transformation.
  • • Hands-on experience with Generative AI development tools including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, and other AI coding assistants.
  • • Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems and AI-powered SDLC platforms.
  • • Hands-on work with agent orchestration frameworks and multi-agent architectures.
  • • Experience with AI-driven legacy modernization, including codebase understanding and automated migration strategies.
  • • Deep understanding of LLM-based developer tools and their application across the software development lifecycle.
  • • Experience across diverse technology ecosystems including Python, Java, .NET, JavaScript/Vue.js.
  • • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Infrastructure as Code, platform engineering, developer platforms, and API-driven architectures.
  • • Hands-on experience with GenAI code assistants, agentic workflow systems, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • • Experience contributing to AI-driven SDLC transformation initiatives, including adoption of AI coding assistants, context-aware code generation, automated testing, and agentic workflow automation.
  • • Experience applying AI to improve developer productivity, software quality, legacy modernization, bug remediation, and engineering automation.
  • • Exposure to implementing AI-enabled engineering practices across SDLC stages including design, development, testing, deployment, and operations.
  • • Proficient in API fundamentals and REST API architecture best practices.
  • • In-depth understanding of the full software development lifecycle (design, development, deployment).
  • • Advanced experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications using CI/CD tools following best practices.
  • • Experience building microservice-based applications with an API-first mindset.
  • • Strong collaboration skills within agile frameworks with a problem-solving attitude and willingness to embrace diverse approaches.
  • • Excellent analytical and time management skills with proven ability to deliver cross-organizational impact independently.
  • • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, with experience planning and leading complex technical projects involving multiple teams.
  • • Excellent leadership, written, and verbal communication skills.
