- • The Staff AI Engineer will design and implement an autonomous intelligence layer for a fleet of trading agents in high-frequency financial environments, enabling the system to learn from real-time market outcomes and improve profitability through closed-loop feedback.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include building feedback loops that connect trade outcomes to strategy improvements, creating evaluation frameworks for signal quality, developing automated strategy generation systems, and optimizing inference for concurrent agents while managing fleet-wide risk and performance attribution.
- • The role is with MLabs, working on behalf of a client developing cutting-edge autonomous agent runtime technology, focused on transitioning from manual insight propagation to a self-improving fleet intelligence system in a high-stakes production environment.
- • The successful candidate will gain deep expertise in production ML systems for finance, autonomous multi-agent coordination, domain-specific model training, and large-scale inference optimization, directly impacting agent profitability and fleet evolution through measurable, real-time feedback.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience training, deploying, and maintaining production ML models that directly impact business outcomes.
- • Deep understanding of reinforcement or online learning from real-world outcomes, not static datasets.
- • Track record of building closed-loop systems where predictions lead to actions that generate outcomes used to improve future predictions.
- • Proficiency in Python, with comfort in Go or TypeScript for production services, and experience building data pipelines and distributed systems.
