📋 Description

• As a Staff Business Program Manager for New Product Introduction at 1Password, you will play a critical role in operationalizing technical partner-facing initiatives that support the product roadmap, ensuring new capabilities move from concept to launch with clarity, alignment, and operational rigor—directly contributing to the company’s mission of building a safer, simpler digital future for millions of users and over 180,000 businesses worldwide.
• You will own end-to-end NPI operations by defining and running the operating model for ecosystem operations tied to the product roadmap, including intake, prioritization, tracking, SLAs, and escalation paths, while establishing measurable expectations for what “ecosystem ready” means for roadmap milestones and launch moments.
• You will drive cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, and supporting teams to ensure partner-connected initiatives move forward predictably and on schedule, coordinating readiness plans with leadership and key partners (Comms/PR, Brand, Legal, Marketing) to deliver partner-related operational deliverables on time.
• You will lead integrated readiness for launches and communications moments, ensuring logo approvals, brand usage compliance, quote collection and approval workflows, and asset tracking and version control are completed accurately and timely for press releases, announcements, and events.
• You will own end-to-end logistics and preparation for external engagements involving ecosystem partners, ensuring EPD (Engineering, Product, Design) has clear goals, talking points, and aligned internal support, while representing EPD leadership in stakeholder interactions and driving timely internal follow-through on commitments.
• You will build scalable processes, tooling, and documentation by creating lightweight, repeatable playbooks and templates, identifying systemic bottlenecks, implementing improvements (e.g., clearer approval workflows, standardized intake forms, readiness checklists), anticipating risks, and escalating with clear context when tradeoffs in scope, timing, or sequencing are needed.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience in program management, business operations, or equivalent cross-functional delivery roles in a product/technology environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and deadlines.
• Strong operational judgment, including comfort working with ambiguity and improving systems that are still forming.
• Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to clearly document decisions, share status updates, and create process documentation.
• Experience supporting product launches and go-to-market readiness efforts, particularly where approvals and external-facing assets are involved.
• Familiarity with brand, PR, and legal review processes (for example: logo usage, quotes, embargoed announcements).
