📋 Description

• As a Staff Data Engineer at Oxio Technologies Inc., you will play a critical role in designing and executing a robust, forward-looking data strategy that powers data-driven decision-making across the entire organization, enabling reliable access to data for all business functions.
• Day to day, you will build, maintain, and scale data pipelines integrating internal and external systems into the data warehouse, partner with stakeholders to understand analysis needs, collaborate with engineering teams to improve data logging, participate in architectural planning, and advocate for data engineering best practices in modeling, ETL/ELT, and observability.
• You will join a small but growing Data team at Oxio, the world’s first telecom-as-a-service (TaaS) platform, which democratizes telecom by enabling brands and enterprises to own and operate proprietary mobile networks while leveraging data for customer and machine behavior insights.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in scalable data architecture, influence cross-functional teams to elevate data craftsmanship, and directly impact the company’s ability to innovate, serve customers better, and build a world-class data culture with long-term scalability.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years experience building large scale data platforms
• Proficient with Dimensional Modeling (Star Schema, Kimball, Inmon) and data architecture concepts
• Advanced SQL skills including window functions and UDFs
• Experienced with Python, Spark, dbt, and Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift or similar data warehouses
• Experience implementing real-time and batch data pipelines with tight SLOs and complex transformations
• Familiarity with infrastructure tooling such as Terraform/Pulumi and Kubernetes, and proficiency with AWS cloud
