- • As a Staff Data Scientist at Jerry Technologies Inc., you will serve as a force multiplier and accelerant to the business by driving data-informed decision-making across product, growth, tech, and operations. You will be embedded in one of Jerry’s core business areas — Growth Marketing, Product Development, AI & Automation, or Strategic Partnerships — where you will own the analytical function end-to-end, shaping what questions to ask, what data to pull, and what decisions to make to help scale from 5M to 50M customers and become a $10B business in four years.
- • Your day-to-day will involve defining the right business problems, building reports and running analyses in SQL and Python, designing experiments, surfacing insights, and driving outcomes by influencing stakeholders in product, growth, finance, or operations with clear, persuasive communication. You will execute hands-on work — not just strategy — seeing analyses through to impact without corporate fluff or unnecessary meetings.
- • You will join a team of former McKinsey, BCG, and Bain consultants who are analytical powerhouses and first-principles problem solvers. The Data Science & Analytics team owns critical domains with full accountability, operates with high autonomy, and focuses only on work that materially changes the business trajectory — no slides, no bloat, just impact.
- • In this role, you will deepen your ability to solve ambiguous problems, influence senior leadership, and drive end-to-end outcomes in a high-growth, profitable tech company. You’ll gain ownership over key business levers and grow as a leader who combines rigorous analysis with decisive action in a mission-driven environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience at a consulting firm, investment bank, or high-growth technology company
- • Strong analytical skills; ability to pull, structure, and interpret data independently using SQL and Python
- • Track record of owning ambiguous problems and delivering measurable impact
- • Clear, persuasive communicator who can influence decisions at the leadership level
- • First principles thinker who breaks down ambiguous problems into testable hypotheses before touching data
- • Owner mindset: acts with accountability, takes initiative to fix issues even outside formal responsibilities
