Staff Design Engineer

📋 Description

• • As a Staff Design Engineer at Render Services, Inc., you will be a driving force behind the user experience of a modern cloud platform that empowers developers to build AI-native, full-stack applications without managing infrastructure. This senior, high-autonomy role sits at the intersection of design and engineering, where you will own the end-to-end execution of user experiences—from identifying what should exist, to designing how it should feel, to shipping it in production code.
• • Day to day, you will own the quality bar for user experience across the Render product by identifying, designing, and shipping interface improvements end-to-end—from interaction design and visual polish through to production-ready React/TypeScript code. You will drive design-led projects with full autonomy, ship production features as a full contributor to the codebase, bridge design and engineering by collaborating directly with product designers and engineers, elevate craft standards through code review and design feedback, shape design systems and component architecture, and collaborate with product, design, and engineering leadership on roadmap priorities to ensure craft and user experience have a seat at the table.
