Staff Device SRE, Test Platform

📋 Description

• • As a Staff Device SRE on the Test Platform team, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and observability of Flock’s hardware-in-the-loop test infrastructure, enabling developers to build and validate embedded systems efficiently.
• • Day to day, you will design and implement self-healing lab hardware systems, maintain test platform infrastructure via IaC, integrate test results into release workflows, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with Device SRE, Release Experience, Test Developers, Lab Engineers, and Device Software teams to unblock development and improve test fidelity.
• • You will join a high-performance, low-ego team at Flock Safety, a remote-first company scaling intentionally with $700M in funding and a $7.5B valuation, dedicated to building a nationwide public-private safety network that connects law enforcement, schools, businesses, and communities through responsible innovation.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in SRE practices for embedded systems, lead cross-team initiatives to standardize test workflows, gain visibility into hardware-software integration challenges, and shape a best-in-class test platform that prevents outages before they occur.
