- • We are looking for a Staff Engineer with both technical and leadership experience to lead technical efforts that affect multiple squads to address the most pressing technical needs that impact the organization.
- • The team you will join is the AutoProgression Team (or the A-Team for short), which offers an experienced and mature engineering culture and an environment where every single engineer has a direct impact on the success of our business.
- • As a Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for building best-in-class applications and services, sharing in the ownership of the technical direction and impact of the platform, and working with the team to align on product roadmaps, specifications, and priorities.
- • You will also ensure our users are presented with timely and accurate information that helps them do their job, evolve the architecture to improve operational efficiency and support business growth, and actively contribute to Stellar’s Engineering Culture.
- • Additionally, you will provide effective and constructive feedback by reviewing others’ work, set consistent standards via code and design reviews, and expand and improve our EHR (Electronic Health Record) Data Pipeline.
- • You will also create and expand features in the Stellar Health application powered by EHR Data.
🎯 Requirements
- • At least ten years of total experience, with recent hands-on experience writing production-level code (Python is preferred / Java / C++ / Go)
- • Expertise in a cloud platform such as AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure
- • Expertise in relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
- • Experience with Django or with a similar web framework
- • At least two years of experience building data processing pipelines
- • Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional architectural projects and rollouts
- • Experience writing highly available and low latency services, and know how to deploy and keep them running in production
