- • As a Staff Engineer at GoDaddy, you will architect and lead the evolution of a central developer platform that empowers thousands of engineers to deploy applications efficiently, enabling them to focus on product innovation rather than infrastructure complexity.
- • Day to day, you will own large, cross-cutting platform initiatives from conception to delivery, improve resilience and scalability of internal systems, mentor engineers, influence technical standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges across AWS-based distributed systems.
- • You will join a remote-first team of seven engineers supported by a dedicated SRE team of three, collaborating across time zones from the US to India, working on a platform that already serves hundreds of applications and is expanding into database management and broader service coverage.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in platform engineering, AWS CDK, TypeScript, and Node.js while shaping long-term technical direction, driving engineering excellence, and mentoring peers across the organization—positioning you as a technical leader in scalable cloud-native systems.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience building production-grade systems using TypeScript and Node.js in a platform or full-stack environment
- • Deep experience designing and owning architectures for large-scale distributed systems on AWS
- • Expert-level hands-on experience with AWS CDK, making infrastructure and architectural decisions at scale
- • Proven ability to make and defend complex technical and architectural trade-offs with long-term impact
- • Strong technical leadership and mentoring experience, setting technical direction and raising the engineering bar across teams
