Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Be the driving force behind enterprise-wide supply-chain transformations as a Staff Engineer & Oracle Cloud SCM Functional Consultant at Nagarro. You will own the end-to-end delivery of Oracle Fusion SCM programs for Fortune-1000 and high-growth clients across North America, EMEA and APAC, guiding them from legacy, on-premise landscapes to modern, cloud-native supply-chain ecosystems.
- • Own the full project lifecycle: lead discovery workshops to surface pain points in Procurement, Inventory and Order Management; architect future-state processes; configure Oracle Cloud SCM to match; and shepherd the solution through conference-room pilots, conference-room pilots, UAT, cut-over and hyper-care. Your fingerprints will be on every critical decision.
- • Act as the single point of truth for Oracle Cloud SCM functional expertise. Translate complex business requirements into crisp user stories, fit-gap analyses, configuration workbooks and test scripts. Balance out-of-the-box capabilities with strategic extensions, ensuring each client maximizes ROI without unnecessary customization.
- • Design and configure the core SCM pillars—Procurement (Self-Service, Sourcing, Supplier Qualification, Purchasing), Inventory (Costing, Replenishment, Min-Max, Cycle Counting, Lot/Serial Control) and Order Management (Pricing, Orchestration, Back-to-Back, Drop-Ship)—while ensuring seamless integration touchpoints with Oracle Financials (AP, AR, GL, Costing) and third-party WMS, TMS and PLM systems.
- • Champion best-practice process re-engineering across Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Sourcing-to-Pay (S2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C). Identify automation opportunities, eliminate maverick spend, reduce order-to-ship cycle times and improve cash-to-cash metrics. Present quantified business cases to C-suite sponsors and secure buy-in for change.
- • Lead cross-functional workshops with procurement managers, plant controllers, demand planners, logistics leaders and finance controllers. Facilitate design-thinking sessions, storyboard future-state journeys and build consensus among stakeholders with conflicting priorities. Your communication style is equal parts diplomat, coach and data-driven analyst.
- • Collaborate daily with Nagarro’s technical COE—solution architects, integration developers, data-conversion leads and report writers. Review technical specifications for REST/SOAP integrations, BI Publisher reports, OTBI dashboards and custom Groovy extensions. Ensure every build aligns with functional blueprints and Oracle’s quarterly update cadence.
- • Build and execute comprehensive test strategies: author functional test scripts, coordinate conference-room pilots, drive user acceptance testing (UAT) and triage defects in Jira. Maintain a risk-based defect log and orchestrate weekly triage calls to keep go-live dates sacred.
- • Design and deliver role-based training curricula for power users, casual users and executive sponsors. Produce quick-reference guides, e-learning modules and train-the-trainer playbooks. Provide hyper-care support for the first 90 days post go-live, monitoring KPIs and tuning configurations for optimal adoption.
- • Continuously scan the Oracle Cloud SCM roadmap, quarterly updates and emerging features such as Intelligent Procurement, IoT-enabled inventory and AI-driven demand sensing. Evangelize innovations to clients, run proof-of-concepts and craft upgrade strategies that protect prior investments while unlocking new value.
- • Mentor junior consultants and offshore analysts, instilling Nagarro’s culture of curiosity, craftsmanship and client obsession. Contribute to reusable accelerators—configuration templates, test-automation scripts and estimation models—that compress future delivery timelines and elevate the firm’s IP portfolio.
- • Thrive in a 100 % remote-first environment, collaborating across time zones via Slack, Miro, Jira and Zoom. Balance autonomy with accountability, managing 2–3 concurrent projects while maintaining laser-focused attention to each client’s success metrics.
