📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end architecture for SAP IS-Retail solutions that power the supply chains of some of the world’s largest grocery, fashion, and specialty retailers. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable, future-proof designs that integrate seamlessly with SAP MM-Purchasing, Wastage & Shrinkage Management, Centralized Bakery Production, Butchery & Fishery processes, and a unified master-data backbone.
• Lead discovery workshops with stakeholders across merchandising, supply chain, store operations, and finance to uncover pain points in consignment flows, vendor rebate calculations, recipe management, and store replenishment. Distill these findings into a crisp technical vision that balances speed-to-market with long-term extensibility.
• Architect and configure the full suite of SAP IS-Retail modules—DC Forecasting & Replenishment, Merchandise Hierarchy Redesign, Store Assortment Planning, and Group-wide Non-Trade Procurement—ensuring that every data element and process step is traceable, auditable, and optimized for performance at enterprise scale.
• Define and enforce design standards, coding patterns, and DevSecOps practices that keep 7+ scrum teams aligned. Create living architecture blueprints, sequence diagrams, and decision logs so that every developer, tester, and support engineer understands the “why” behind every line of code.
• Drive proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate new SAP Fiori apps, CDS views, and integration techniques with SAP CAR, BW/4HANA, and third-party loyalty or e-commerce platforms. Present findings to client CTOs and architecture review boards, turning abstract ideas into funded initiatives.
• Build and maintain the WBS, effort estimates, and risk registers for each release. Negotiate scope trade-offs with product owners when emergent requirements threaten timelines, always anchoring decisions in quantifiable business value and TCO.
• Champion automated testing, continuous integration, and blue-green deployment pipelines that cut release cycles from months to weeks. Instrument code with real-time telemetry so that shrinkage anomalies, vendor rebate accrual errors, or bakery yield variances are detected and remediated before they hit the P&L.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting leadership during SIT, UAT, and hyper-care. When a store inventory freeze occurs at 2 a.m. on Black Friday, you are the calm voice guiding war-room teams through SAP transaction codes, SQL execution plans, and middleware logs until root cause is isolated and fixed.
• Mentor senior and junior consultants alike, running weekly architecture clinics and brown-bag sessions on topics such as SAP S/4HANA migration strategies, Fiori UX best practices, and GDPR-compliant data retention. Measure success not just by defect counts, but by the growth of the people around you.
• Continuously scan the horizon for emerging technologies—machine-learning forecasting engines, blockchain-based provenance tracking, or edge-enabled store devices—and evaluate their fit within the existing landscape. Package insights into thought-leadership blogs and conference talks that elevate Nagarro’s brand in the SAP retail community.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience implementing SAP IS-Retail with deep expertise in MM-Purchasing, Wastage & Shrinkage Management, Centralized Bakery Production, Butchery & Fishery processes
• Proven delivery of at least two full-lifecycle SAP IS-Retail projects covering Consignment, Vendor Rebate Management, Recipe Management, Store Replenishment, DC Forecasting & Replenishment, Merchandise Hierarchy Redesign, Store Assortment Planning, Unified Master Data Management Platform, and Group-wide Non-Trade Procurement Platform
• Strong command of SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, CDS views, BRF+, and integration patterns with SAP CAR, BW/4HANA, and third-party systems
• Experience creating WBS, effort estimations, and risk mitigation plans for large-scale agile programs
• Nice-to-have: Certification in SAP IS-Retail or S/4HANA, exposure to cloud hyperscaler services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and familiarity with DevOps toolchains (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform)
