đź“‹ Description

  • • Join Grafana Labs, a globally recognized open-source powerhouse, as a Staff GTM Engineer specializing in AI & Automation. We are a remote-first company with a vibrant community of over 20 million users worldwide, monitoring everything from critical infrastructure to environmental changes. Our technology, the Grafana LGTM Stack, is trusted by over 3,000 companies, including industry leaders like Bloomberg and JPMorgan Chase, to manage their observability strategies. This role is an exceptional opportunity for a builder who is passionate about the intersection of artificial intelligence, automation, and driving business growth.
  • • As a Staff GTM Engineer, you will be instrumental in building and scaling our next-generation AI agent and workflow systems. Your primary focus will be on hands-on coding, designing sophisticated multi-agent architectures, seamlessly integrating Large Language Model (LLM) APIs, developing robust data pipelines, and deploying automation solutions that operate reliably 24/7 across our Marketing, Revenue Operations (RevOps), and Sales Development Representative (SDR) teams.
  • • You will be a key player in executing our AI growth roadmap, developing internal capabilities and integrations that significantly streamline marketing and operational workflows. This involves implementing advanced multi-agent systems designed to deliver tangible results and drive efficiency across these critical departments. Your strong technical acumen and unwavering focus on execution will be essential in delivering AI-first solutions that transform business bottlenecks into comprehensive, automated systems, thereby generating measurable Return on Investment (ROI), accelerating growth, and enhancing team effectiveness.
  • • This is a deeply hands-on role, with approximately 60-70% of your time dedicated to coding and systems development, and the remaining 30-40% focused on operational enablement. This includes gathering requirements, creating detailed documentation, conducting training sessions, measuring impact, and ensuring strong stakeholder alignment. You will be a pivotal force in Grafana's internal AI transformation, championing the implementation of governance frameworks and delivering automation that significantly boosts marketing and go-to-market efficiency.
  • • **Build & Operate GTM Automation Systems:**
  • • Develop and maintain reliable automation solutions, leveraging a combination of custom code and orchestration tools (such as n8n, Workato, or Make). This includes establishing and adhering to CI/CD practices, rigorous testing protocols, efficient deployment strategies, and comprehensive runbooks to ensure rapid and safe iteration.
  • • Implement modular, scalable, and multi-agent AI systems designed for continuous 24/7 operation. These systems will integrate seamlessly with key marketing platforms, including but not limited to Customer.io, Marketo, Salesforce, and BigQuery.
  • • Take ownership of the technical direction for GTM automation initiatives. This involves designing effective data models, defining clear API contracts, building reusable shared libraries, and maintaining reference architectures that will be adopted across various teams.
  • • Actively participate in code reviews, write comprehensive tests to ensure code quality and reliability, and uphold stringent production reliability standards.
  • • **Operate, Enable, and Scale GTM Workflows:**
  • • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including RevOps, Demand Generation, Regional Marketing, Events Marketing, and SDRs, to identify and resolve workflow inefficiencies through innovative agent-based solutions that yield measurable business outcomes.
  • • Create and disseminate reusable workflow templates, detailed playbooks, and user-friendly “how-to” documentation. This empowers partner teams to safely self-serve common automations while ensuring clear ownership and robust measurement frameworks are in place.
  • • Provide direct, hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for the AI systems deployed across different teams.
  • • **Key Strategic Project: AI Chatbot Routing & Human-in-the-Loop Orchestration:**
  • • Align AI chatbot systems across Marketing, SDR, and Customer Success teams to establish a unified and intelligent approach to prospect interaction routing.
  • • Develop sophisticated intelligent routing logic to determine the optimal timing and method for engaging human resources in prospect interactions.
  • • Implement robust tracking and analytics to meticulously measure routing effectiveness and refine human-in-the-loop triggers based on performance data.
  • • Create scalable patterns for accurately classifying prospect intent and assigning them to the most appropriate channel or resource.
  • • Define Service Level Agreements (SLAs), anticipate potential failure modes, and establish clear fallback pathways for scenarios involving uncertain routing, system downtime, or low confidence scores.
  • • Instrument end-to-end funnel metrics, including handoff time, qualification accuracy, meeting set rates, and pipeline influence, and continuously iterate to optimize performance.
  • • **AI Implementation & Operational Excellence:**
  • • Build and maintain secure, well-documented systems that incorporate robust Personally Identifiable Information (PII) controls, stringent compliance protocols, and granular permission frameworks.
  • • Implement company-wide standards for AI prompt engineering, version control, testing methodologies, observability, and the measurement of business impact.
  • • Develop internal training materials, best practices documentation, and scalable frameworks for AI tools to foster cross-functional team success and adoption.
  • • Provide ongoing technical assistance and system optimization to support the continuous adoption and improvement of AI solutions across the organization.
