📋 Description

• As a Staff IT Administrator at Jane Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company’s internal technology infrastructure by architecting secure, scalable identity and access management systems that support a growing, distributed workforce of over 700 employees across Canada, the US, and the UK. Your work will directly enable teams to focus on their mission of helping healthcare providers by ensuring seamless, secure, and reliable access to critical tools and data.
• Day to day, you will architect and evolve Jane’s identity and access management strategy, designing role-based access control (RBAC) systems that reduce risk and support long-term growth; lead the technical direction for identity, device trust, and access automation in preparation for HITRUST certification, ensuring audit readiness and resilience; design and implement automation frameworks using Okta, Freshservice, and low-code/no-code tools to eliminate manual processes and increase reliability across IT operations; act as a technical multiplier by mentoring peers, raising architectural standards, and influencing cross-team initiatives to build maintainable, scalable systems; and champion responsible AI adoption by identifying high-leverage automation opportunities, piloting tools with privacy and security in mind, and helping the team work smarter.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant professional experience in IT systems administration at a senior level, with demonstrated readiness for staff-level scope, influence, and technical leadership in a complex, growing environment.
• Deep expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), including SSO, RBAC, user lifecycle management, and hands-on experience with platforms such as Okta or equivalent identity providers.
• Proven experience architecting and scaling IT systems in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment, with strong judgment around risk, security, compliance, and the ability to lead cross-team technical initiatives from design through rollout.
