- • The Staff Linux Systems Engineer (Platform & Infrastructure) plays a critical role in maintaining and advancing Extreme Networks’ cloud-driven networking infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability for over 50,000 global customers.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing Linux-based systems and infrastructure platforms, automating workflows, monitoring system health, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support digital transformation initiatives.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- • 8+ years of hands-on experience administering and optimizing Linux systems in enterprise or cloud environments
- • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
- • Strong understanding of networking concepts, virtualization, and containerization technologies (e.g., KVM, Docker)
- • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- • Ability to collaborate effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment
