The Measurement Modeling team, which you will lead, owns critical machine learning solutions such as Identity Matching, Identity Graph, Utility Enhancement for Ads Privacy, Modeled Conversion, and new Measurement Modeling Initiatives. Your work will directly impact Reddit’s monetization strategy, ensuring that advertisers can measure and optimize their campaigns effectively while maintaining user trust and compliance with privacy regulations. • • **What the person will do day to day:**
• • **Lead Technical Strategy and Architecture:** Define and execute the long-term technical vision for Reddit’s ads identity modeling solutions and related measurement models. This includes architecting scalable, privacy-compliant systems that leverage advanced machine learning techniques to resolve identities across diverse data sources (e.g., cookies, hashed emails, IP addresses, user agents).
• • **Design and Train Advanced ML Models:** Develop and optimize machine learning models that balance accuracy, scalability, and latency. You will manage trade-offs between model complexity and prediction quality, ensuring that solutions meet business needs while adhering to privacy and compliance requirements.
• • **Oversee End-to-End ML Workflows:** Manage the entire machine learning lifecycle, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and deployment. Optimize workflows for performance, cost, and reliability, leveraging tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark, Kafka, Beam, and Flink.
• • **Collaborate Cross-Functionally:** Partner with product managers, data scientists, platform engineers, privacy teams, and legal stakeholders to align on roadmaps, set long-term goals, and ensure that identity modeling solutions integrate seamlessly with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., Measurement & Reporting, Experimentation, Personalization, Delivery, and Safety).
