  • • As a Staff ML Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing robust machine learning infrastructure, cutting-edge tooling, and sophisticated models that empower product and development teams to deliver world-class user experiences.
  • • A key aspect of your role will involve educating and guiding product and development teams on the intricacies of the data lifecycle and the experimental nature inherent in machine learning projects.
  • • You will be instrumental in building internal products and platforms that facilitate the seamless integration of AI capabilities into our features and customer-facing products, driving innovation across the company.
  • • Your responsibilities will extend to consulting with various teams, providing expert guidance on common machine learning patterns, identifying anti-patterns, and navigating complex trade-offs to ensure the creation of exceptional end-to-end customer experiences.

  • • The Machine Learning Team's overarching mission is to fuel product innovation by removing the complexities associated with building AI-powered applications that require access to extensive datasets. We aim to democratize machine learning, enabling teams to develop advanced features safely and responsibly, without requiring a PhD in Data Science.
  • • This is a fully remote position based in India, with the expectation of overlapping with both India and US business hours to facilitate collaboration.
  • • You will report directly to the Engineering Director, contributing to strategic technical direction.
  • • Your work will directly impact how hundreds of millions of people experience Weave daily, making this a high-visibility and high-impact role.
  • • You will be working with emerging technologies and building models for new products at an unprecedented scale.
  • • This role requires a deep understanding of distributed systems and the ability to build scalable, redundant, and observable services.
