- • As a Staff Platform Engineer at WunderGraph, you will own the mission-critical cloud infrastructure powering the WunderGraph Cosmo platform for enterprise customers, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability by defining and meeting stringent SLOs.
- • You will architect, build, and operate core cloud-native infrastructure using Go and Kubernetes, own and evolve the observability stack (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, ClickHouse), build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, champion Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, embed security best practices for SOC 2 compliance, and mentor engineers through code reviews and documentation.
- • You will collaborate closely with the Head of Engineering and the engineering team, aligning with technical leadership while contributing to a no-BS, high-impact culture where your voice matters and you can drive meaningful change.
- • You will enable engineering teams to ship features faster and with confidence through a world-class Internal Developer Platform, drive architectural vision for the platform, level up the team via mentorship and best practices, and grow your influence as WunderGraph scales, helping to define the future of platform engineering.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience architecting and operating scalable, highly available, and secure cloud-native platforms in production, with strong proficiency in Go and deep expertise in Kubernetes.
- • Deep expertise in a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi).
- • Experience building or managing modern observability stacks (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ClickHouse).
- • A self-starter attitude and leader’s mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, able to identify and solve ill-defined problems, and does not require hand-holding.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly in design documents, RFCs, and asynchronous discussions.
