- • Staff/Principal Electrical Manufacturing Engineer role focused on driving continuous improvement and sustaining projects in Velo3D’s manufacturing facility in Fremont, CA, ensuring product reliability and quality throughout product lifecycles.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include researching, developing, designing, testing, evaluating, creating drawings and schematics, and developing documentation for electrical components, subassemblies, equipment, and systems while applying electrical engineering principles and techniques.
- • The role involves influencing all aspects of production, including new design solutions, product development, and subsystem assembly at local and global contract manufacturers, with involvement in system assembly and integration testing.
- • The position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborate cross-functionally, and gain hands-on experience building, assessing, and executing complex assembly iterations while contributing to product quality and manufacturing excellence.
