- • As a Staff Product Designer at Mudflap, you will own major mobile and web initiatives, blending strategy with hands-on design to solve real problems for small business owners in the $800B trucking industry.
- • You will lead high-impact design work across iOS, Android, and web platforms, driving strategy and execution from ambiguity to shipped solutions that move the business forward.
- • You will work directly with the Head of Product (co-founder) and executive team to shape product direction, influence roadmaps, and turn insights into strategic decisions.
- • You will mentor senior designers, elevate design systems, introduce emerging tools like AI, and champion cross-functional collaboration to raise the bar for design quality.
- • You will own the problem space end-to-end through research, discovery, and iterative testing to ensure the right problems are solved in the right way.
- • You will design cohesive mobile and web ecosystems, creating connected, user-centered workflows that shape the product holistically.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years as a Senior Product Designer or higher, including ownership of initiatives with measurable business outcomes
- • 5+ years of experience designing mobile apps for iOS and Android
- • Significant experience leading early-stage research and problem space definition
- • Strong storytelling and presentation skills; able to rally teams around design ideas
- • Background in designing digital services that improve physical-world workflows (e.g., logistics, mobility, operations)
- • Deep proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, prototyping libraries, etc.) and methods
