- • Horizon3.ai is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Staff Product Designer to join our dynamic and rapidly growing remote cybersecurity company. At the forefront of innovation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of autonomous pentesting solutions, contributing to a mission that empowers organizations worldwide to proactively identify and neutralize exploitable attack vectors before they can be exploited by malicious actors. Your work will directly impact the security posture of businesses and consumers globally, driving the adoption of cutting-edge design patterns and intuitive user interfaces that redefine the cybersecurity landscape.
- • As a Staff Product Designer, you will be instrumental in creating new categories of products that have never existed before, leveraging your expertise to translate complex technical concepts into elegant and user-centered design proposals. You will collaborate closely with customers and engineering teams, acting as a bridge between intricate security functionalities and seamless user experiences. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence product strategy, drive design innovation, and deliver solutions that address critical security challenges such as ineffective tools, alert fatigue, blind spots, and the high cost of external security consultants.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass the entire design lifecycle, from initial ideation and research to the final implementation and iteration of product features. You will be expected to distill complex problems into approachable steps, utilizing a range of design methodologies including sketching, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity mockups. A strong emphasis will be placed on creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that make sophisticated cybersecurity tools accessible and effective for a diverse user base, including ITOps/SecOps teams, consulting pentesters, and MSSPs/MSPs.
- • A key aspect of this role involves close partnership with product management, engineering teams, and end-users. You will actively integrate feedback, technical constraints, and user insights into your designs, ensuring that the final product is not only aesthetically coherent but also functionally robust and aligned with business objectives. This collaborative approach is essential for navigating the complexities of enterprise SaaS and B2B security domains.
- • You will champion best practices in accessibility, ensuring that our products are usable and inclusive for all users, adhering to standards such as WCAG 2.2 guidelines. Identifying and resolving UX challenges will be a continuous effort, requiring strategic iteration on designs to enhance user engagement, satisfaction, and overall product effectiveness. Your intuition, combined with quantitative research and internal usability testing, will provide invaluable insights to guide design decisions and push the boundaries of what is possible in leading-edge cybersecurity interfaces.
- • Collaboration extends to working with other designers within the team to foster shared patterns, contribute to the overall product vision, and maintain consistent design guidelines. You will be responsible for regularly updating and maintaining design system components within Figma, ensuring a unified and scalable design language across all Horizon3.ai products. This role demands a self-starter mentality, the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, and a proven track record of taking ownership of product design activities from conception to launch.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technical limitations and front-end development techniques, enabling effective communication and collaboration with engineering counterparts. You will be adept at gathering design feedback through both one-on-one interactions and larger design sessions with customers and internal stakeholders. Ultimately, you will be a driving force in delivering world-class product designs that are simple, intuitive, and solve complex problems, solidifying Horizon3.ai's position as a leader in autonomous pentesting solutions.
