- • As a Staff Product Designer at BetterUp, you will shape the next generation of the company’s platform and design language, setting the vision for how its ecosystem of products, tools, and experiences come together seamlessly while balancing deep user empathy with system-level thinking.
- • You will drive the design vision and strategy for cross-product experiences, lead end-to-end design for complex systems and user journeys spanning multiple product surfaces, and partner with senior product, research, and engineering leaders to shape product direction and long-term roadmaps.
- • BetterUp is pioneering human transformation at scale, evolving from a suite of products to an intelligent, adaptive platform that powers transformative experiences for individuals and organizations worldwide, with a culture centered on personal growth, coaching, and meaningful work.
- • You will have the opportunity to mentor and elevate designers, lead a small team, influence design quality and strategy across the organization, and advance the design system to enable flexibility, consistency, and innovation while integrating AI to anticipate industry-shifting capabilities and drive technical vision for AI-augmented design over 3–5 year horizons.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of product design experience with deep expertise in system-level design, platform thinking, and multi-surface experiences
- • Proven success leading design strategy and execution for high-impact, high-complexity initiatives
- • A portfolio showcasing visionary work that balances clarity, craft, and strategic insight
- • Demonstrated ability to influence product direction at a senior leadership level
- • Experience mentoring and leading other designers, fostering both autonomy and alignment
- • Mastery in information architecture, interaction design, and visual systems thinking
