📋 Description

• As a Staff Product Designer leading Design Systems & Foundations at Zipline, you will own and evolve ZUI, the company's design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and high-quality experiences across products used by hundreds of thousands of frontline workers daily.
• You will establish shared interaction patterns, design principles, and documentation that enable designers, engineers, and product managers to work independently and consistently, while driving adoption of the design system organization-wide.
• You will partner closely with design leadership, engineering, and product teams to shape how Zipline builds and scales, contributing to complex initiatives and influencing long-term product direction, including the integration of AI into design workflows.
• This role offers the opportunity to define foundational systems that create leverage across the entire organization, helping teams move faster, make better decisions, and deliver more consistent experiences—directly impacting Zipline’s mission to empower frontline teams globally.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience leading or significantly contributing to a design system at scale
• Strong systems thinking across interaction design, workflows, information architecture, and visual design
• Proven ability to drive alignment and adoption across cross-functional teams
• Excellent visual and interaction design craft
• Strong partnership with engineering and understanding of implementation constraints
• Comfort working in ambiguity and shaping long-term product foundations
