📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end design initiatives for growth-focused product experiences, driving measurable outcomes in activation, engagement, retention, and monetization across Deel’s global SaaS platform.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, data analytics, and marketing teams to define, test, and iterate on growth hypotheses using A/B testing frameworks and data-driven insights.
• Partner with Deel’s UI design system stakeholders to advance design system strategy, ensuring growth-specific needs are met through motion design—animations, micro-interactions, and transitions—that enhance usability and delight.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and validate new features using iterative design cycles, balancing speed with quality while navigating ambiguity and delivering high-impact solutions under tight timelines.
• Design and optimize critical user journeys including onboarding flows, pricing pages, subscription models, and virality features, with portfolio evidence of measurable improvements tied to business metrics.
• Mentor and guide junior Product Designers through constructive feedback, design reviews, and career development rituals, fostering growth and elevating team design standards.
• Identify and resolve friction points in user flows and internal processes by partnering with product and engineering to streamline workflows and improve team efficiency.
• Translate complex user and business needs into clear, strategic design solutions that align with Deel’s mission to enable global work and inclusive economic opportunity.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment through compelling design narratives, storytelling, and communication that inspire teams and drive consensus across geographies and disciplines.
• Embed deeply within development teams, participating fully from ideation through design QA, ensuring seamless handoff and continuous feedback loops to unblock progress.
• Leverage AI tools as part of the design workflow—whether for prototyping speed, content generation, or UX optimization—and design AI-powered product experiences that enhance user outcomes.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of product analytics tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel, using both qualitative and quantitative data to ground design decisions in evidence and measurable impact.
• Maintain a high bar for visual, UI, and UX excellence while championing consistency, innovation, and accessibility across all growth-related product surfaces.
• Advocate for user-centered design while balancing business objectives, ensuring that every design decision contributes to scalable, sustainable growth.
• Communicate design rationale clearly and persuasively to non-design stakeholders, translating insights into actionable strategies that influence product roadmaps and priorities.
• Drive design practice rituals and contribute to evolving Deel’s design culture through experimentation, learning, and knowledge sharing across global teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7 years as a Product Designer, with at least 2 years as a Staff Product Designer (or equivalent) and proven growth design experience
• Strong UI, UX, and visual design skills with advanced prototyping expertise, including progressive disclosure and motion design
• Deep understanding of product metrics, user behavior analytics, and A/B testing; familiarity with Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar tools
• Portfolio showcasing experimentation work with measurable outcomes in onboarding flows, pricing pages, subscription models, or virality features
• Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies; experience designing AI-assisted or AI-powered product experiences or using AI tools in the design workflow
• Demonstrated mentorship experience guiding junior Product Designers and enabling their professional growth
