- • As a Staff Product Manager on the Platform team focused on Identity & Access Management (IAM), you will play a critical role in enabling 1Password’s product teams to deliver secure, seamless experiences by building and evolving the foundational IAM infrastructure that powers authentication, authorization, and identity across all products and client types.
- • You will embed within Identity, Authentication, and Authorization platform teams to anticipate future needs, define a cohesive vision for IAM across the product suite, and prioritize initiatives that align with company milestones — ensuring scalability, security, and usability for internal teams and external customers alike.
- • You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Data, and Product leaders across the portfolio to translate stakeholder needs into actionable roadmaps, own the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch, and drive adoption by breaking complex initiatives into measurable milestones with clear business impact.

🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager with a proven track record leading internally-facing platform services, specifically in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) space at a multi-product company.
- • Technical fluency to engage effectively in large-scale architectural decisions with engineering teams, including deep understanding of authentication (AuthN) and authorization (AuthZ) systems across diverse client types (desktop, web, developer tools).
- • Hands-on experience building IAM services that support identities spanning multiple products, with expertise in SSO, OAuth, OIDC, and other enterprise authentication protocols essential for B2B SaaS platforms.
- • Strong data skills, including experience working with or building product telemetry platforms, and a clear understanding of privacy considerations in data collection and usage.
- • Excellent communication and influencing abilities, with the capacity to synthesize complex context from cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment without formal authority.
- • A bias toward action — demonstrated ability to prioritize high-risk initiatives, unblock obstacles, and maintain focus on delivering meaningful impact in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
