  • • Lead the end-to-end redesign of the professional onboarding journey for healthcare workers on ShiftKey’s marketplace, from registration and identity verification to credential collection and first-shift readiness.
  • • Drive measurable improvements in onboarding conversion rates by eliminating manual, high-friction steps and replacing them with AI-native workflows and agentic automation solutions.
  • • Serve as the primary product owner for the credentialing rules engine, translating complex compliance requirements from internal credentialing teams into scalable, modular product features that accommodate diverse professional profiles (CNAs, RNs, surgical techs).
  • • Architect a flexible onboarding foundation that adapts to varying levels of credential complexity and time-to-productivity expectations without relying on bespoke, one-off builds for each professional type.
  • • Collaborate with engineering delivery partners to define non-negotiable product outcomes while allowing them autonomy in execution, operating within an augmented product model.
  • • Partner closely with compliance, legal, and credentialing teams to ensure all onboarding workflows meet regulatory standards across state and facility-specific requirements.
  • • Use data to connect onboarding throughput directly to core business metrics including supply liquidity, facility fill rates, and professional retention.
  • • Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities to reduce time-to-first-shift by analyzing user behavior, drop-off points, and system bottlenecks in the onboarding funnel.
  • • Act as the most demanding and well-specified consumer of internal credentialing logic, ensuring product features deliver a clear, confident, and compliant experience for healthcare professionals.
  • • Champion user-centered design principles while balancing the constraints of healthcare regulations, liability risks, and operational scalability.
  • • Communicate product vision and progress across cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, customer success, and executive leadership.
  • • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and automation tools to enhance the speed, accuracy, and user experience of onboarding workflows.
  • • Maintain deep empathy for the diverse backgrounds and needs of healthcare professionals, ensuring the onboarding experience is accessible, intuitive, and respectful of their time and expertise.
  • • Own the product roadmap for onboarding, balancing short-term wins with long-term platform scalability and regulatory adaptability.
  • • Define success metrics for onboarding initiatives and establish feedback loops to iterate rapidly based on real-world usage and stakeholder input.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7-9 years in product management, with at least 3 years on marketplace or platform products with supply-side onboarding complexity.
  • • Demonstrated success improving funnel conversion in credentialing-heavy, regulated, or compliance-driven environments.
  • • Real-world experience designing and deploying AI agents or automated intelligence within production workflows.
  • • Strong data instincts and the ability to connect onboarding throughput directly to business outcomes like supply liquidity and fill rate.
  • • Proven ability to lead and deliver across ownership boundaries, working seamlessly with engineering, compliance, and peer product teams.
