  • • Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks using TypeScript to support automated testing across UI, API, E2E, and integration layers
  • • Write and maintain automated tests that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of insurance claims processing applications
  • • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and SRE teams to integrate testing early in the development lifecycle and promote testable code practices
  • • Participate in code reviews and design reviews to improve overall system testability, quality standards, and defect prevention
  • • Continuously improve test coverage, automation reliability, and execution speed across all application tiers
  • • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or equivalent platforms
  • • Investigate and triage test failures, identify root causes of defects, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues
  • • Contribute to the development and documentation of testing strategies, QA best practices, and standardized processes
  • • Work within Agile methodologies to support continuous integration and delivery of high-impact software solutions for large-scale insurance clients
  • • Ensure automation frameworks are maintainable, reusable, and aligned with the evolving architecture of claims processing systems
  • • Support the creation of digital experiences that provide clarity and comfort to claimants during stressful life events through rigorous quality validation
  • • Enable large-scale ML-driven decision-making on billions of dollars in claims payments by validating the accuracy and robustness of algorithmic outputs
  • • Partner with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with business goals and regulatory requirements in the insurance industry
  • • Promote a culture of quality ownership across engineering by advocating for automated testing as a core component of every feature development cycle
  • • Maintain up-to-date documentation for test frameworks, execution workflows, and failure mitigation strategies
  • • Identify performance bottlenecks in automated test suites and optimize them for faster feedback loops in development pipelines
  • • Stay current with emerging testing tools, patterns, and TypeScript ecosystem advancements to enhance automation capabilities
  • • Act as a technical leader in test automation, mentoring junior engineers and setting standards for quality engineering across the team
  • • Ensure compliance with security and data privacy requirements in test environments handling sensitive customer and claims data
  • • Contribute to the design of test data strategies that simulate real-world insurance scenarios without compromising confidentiality
  • • Drive adoption of automated regression testing to reduce manual QA efforts and accelerate release cycles
  • • Provide technical input on product requirements to influence testability from the earliest stages of product planning
  • • Represent QA engineering in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to ensure quality is prioritized alongside feature delivery
  • • Help build testing infrastructure that supports high-volume, high-velocity claims processing systems used by some of the largest insurers in the world

🎯 Requirements

  • • Experience as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer
  • • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and the overall JavaScript ecosystem
  • • Experience with test automation tools
  • • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
  • • Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
