📋 Description
- • Build end-to-end AI features that directly drive revenue, defining success metrics and shipping code across React/TypeScript and Node.js/Python stacks to ensure measurable impact on a product used daily by 1,100+ customers.
- • Work directly with enterprise customers through shared Slack channels and customer calls, validating features in real time and shipping fixes based on immediate user feedback.
- • Set the unified technical direction for the entire engineering team, making architectural decisions on core systems such as agent memory per rep and primitives for long-running outbound strategies that other engineers build against.
- • Lead the design and implementation of multiple vertical AI products including AI Dialer, AI Prospecting, AI Sequencing, and Agent Studio, ensuring consistency and scalability across the agent workspace.
- • Mentor senior engineers, conduct rigorous design reviews, and elevate the technical standards of the team by setting examples in code quality, system design, and operational excellence.
- • Hire and attract top engineering talent by identifying and evaluating candidates who match the high-caliber profile of current team members, many of whom are former founders or founding engineers from companies like Applied Intuition, Scale, Airtable, Citadel, and Jane Street.
- • Debug misbehaving AI agents and design evaluation frameworks to prevent recurring failures, ensuring reliability and performance of AI features that automate sales workflows.
- • Collaborate with product and customer success teams to define the product surface of human-agent collaboration, balancing automation with human oversight to optimize seller productivity.
- • Operate with a founder’s mindset, contributing to the 0→1 development of a product that is still being defined, where team members shape the future of sales engagement as AI takes over most routine tasks.
- • Maintain a presence in the San Francisco office for at least three days per week to foster deep collaboration with cross-functional teams and participate in daily technical and product alignment.
- • Raise the overall velocity of the organization by streamlining workflows, removing technical friction, and enabling other teams to move faster through robust infrastructure and clear documentation.
- • Contribute to a culture of ownership where engineers are accountable for the full lifecycle of their features, from ideation and user validation to deployment and iterative improvement based on usage data.
- • Translate high-level strategic goals into technical roadmaps that align with the company’s mission to 10x every seller by automating administrative tasks and enabling humans to focus on closing deals.
