• In this critical role, you will be instrumental in designing and optimizing APIs and data pipelines that support high-throughput interactive analytics. This involves working with real-time search, filtering, and aggregations on billions of documents, ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of data processing capabilities. Your expertise will be crucial in building and enhancing distributed systems that are the backbone of our large-scale indexing, search, and data processing operations. You will be tasked with driving significant improvements in performance, scalability, cost-efficiency, and overall reliability of our petabyte-scale systems, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency.
• A key aspect of this position involves tuning our systems to achieve optimal utilization of both cloud and datacenter resources. This requires a deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure, enabling you to make informed decisions that balance performance with operational costs. 🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on building and scaling distributed systems.
• Expertise in designing and optimizing large-volume data processing pipelines and search technologies.
• Proven track record of technical leadership, with the ability to influence engineering direction and mentor other engineers.
• A collaborative mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
• Experience with languages such as Java, and familiarity with streaming technologies (Kafka, SQS), NoSQL databases (HBase), search engines (Solr), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
