📋 Description

• As a Staff Software Engineer at Imprint Technologies Inc., you will architect and lead the development of secure, reliable, and scalable backend systems that power modern co-branded credit card and financial products for major brands.
• You will provide technical leadership and mentorship across multiple teams, establish coding standards and architectural principles, and drive continuous optimization of system performance, scalability, and reliability to support rapid growth.
• You will own complex, high-impact projects end-to-end—from architecture and planning through deployment and optimization—and contribute to the technical roadmap by identifying innovation opportunities.
• You will partner closely with product, design, and engineering leadership to align technical strategy with business goals and enhance developer experience through advanced tooling, observability frameworks, and platform reliability improvements.
• Imprint is reimagining co-branded credit cards and financial products to be smarter, more rewarding, and brand-first, partnering with companies like Crate & Barrel, Rakuten, Booking.com, H-E-B, Fetch, and Brooks Brothers to launch modern credit programs that deepen loyalty and drive growth.

• You will mentor and develop engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and technical guidance, helping to evolve the developer experience and strengthen the engineering organization’s technical foundation.
• This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge financial technology at scale, combining advanced payments infrastructure, intelligent underwriting, and seamless UX to help brands offer powerful financial products without becoming a bank.

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptional proficiency in programming languages such as Go (our primary backend language), Java, Python, or similar languages
• Extensive experience architecting complex distributed systems, with a deep understanding of advanced design patterns and architectural paradigms
• Proven track record designing and delivering mission-critical systems that operate at massive scale with exceptional reliability
• Advanced knowledge of sophisticated data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization techniques
• Deep expertise with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and advanced CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and infrastructure-as-code
• Exceptional communication, cross-functional collaboration, and technical leadership skills
• Demonstrated experience driving technical decision-making and mentoring senior engineers
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
