• • As a Staff Software Engineer at Walmart Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the future of enterprise business services, focusing on critical payment processing for Walmart's vast global supply chain.
• • You will lead architectural decisions and champion best practices for building highly scalable and robust applications, ensuring the timely and accurate reconciliation of supplier merchandise against invoices for items ordered across the United States and 26 other countries.
• • Your role will involve driving the end-to-end lifecycle of cutting-edge solutions, from initial design and development through implementation and comprehensive documentation, directly impacting the operational efficiency of Walmart's global network.
• • You will be responsible for building, testing, and deploying innovative solutions at an immense scale, with a direct influence on the daily experience of Walmart associates worldwide.

• • You will play a pivotal role in charting the future roadmap of key products by collaborating closely with senior leadership, providing technical vision and strategic input.
• • This role includes a significant contribution to talent development, where you will participate in hiring processes and mentor team members, enabling them to grow into high-performing agile teams.
• • You will be the technical liaison, interacting closely with Business Owners and technical teams both within India and globally to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
• • You will leverage your deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design to tackle complex challenges in a high-volume, distributed environment.
• • Your responsibilities will extend to ensuring the maintainability and scalability of systems by writing modular, testable code and comprehensive test cases (unit, functional, integration) using industry-standard frameworks.
• • You will be a champion for modern development practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• • You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our technology stack by evaluating and recommending development frameworks, libraries, and tools.
• • Your role will involve working with a variety of data technologies, including relational databases, NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB), and caching solutions (e.g., Redis, Memcached).
• • You will be involved in designing and implementing event-driven architectures using technologies like Kafka.
• • You will utilize monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Splunk) to ensure system health and proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
