- • As a Staff Software Engineer at Lyric, you will drive the design and implementation of mission-critical systems across the platform, leading architectural decisions and influencing engineering standards while remaining hands-on in building scalable, high-performance software.
- • Day to day, you will architect and implement core services, systems, and APIs with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability; serve as a technical leader across multiple projects; collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers; lead design and code reviews; investigate and resolve critical production issues; drive adoption of engineering best practices; and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure, shape technical direction across teams, influence engineering standards and practices, and grow as a technical leader while contributing to impactful healthcare technology that reduces costs for payers, providers, and patients.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of eight (8) years of software engineering experience, including designing and shipping large-scale systems
- • Deep proficiency in one or more backend or full stack languages (e.g. Java, Go, Python, TypeScript)
- • Strong knowledge of distributed systems, API designs, databases (SQL and NoSQL), as well as cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and observability practices
